R.A.F. S.E.2a
The R.A.F. S.E.2a was a one-off experimental machine built in 1913. It was not sent to France immediately, but in October 1914 it joined № 3 Squadron at Moyenneville, where it lasted until March 1915. Its pilots were impressed, saying "Its speed enabled it to circle round the enemy's machines and gave it a decided ascendancy." [1]
