Twenty-four Oeffag C.I planes, plus a prototype, were ordered as Series 51 in December 1915. They made their way to five
Fliks starting in late spring 1916, serving in relatively flat terrain.
Its reputation was solid and safe if a little slow, and it served until late 1916 when it transitioned into training duties.
