When the Lohner B.V was found to be unacceptable, an attempt was made to rework the type as the Lohner B.VI (Series 16.1 or Type H2). It was no more relevant when delivered in 1916 and all eighteen were redirected to training units. The Rapp engines continued to cause fires and they were used only sporadically. [1]
