English: Bulgarian airmen in the British bomber trophy, Armstrong-Whitworth FK3 Nr. 6219 at Airfield Belitsa. On February 12, 1917 2nd Lt AC Stopher landed by mistake on Bulgarian territory. Bulgarian airplane pilots successfully used for 42 missions, night raids against British forces. On May 23, 1918 the engine was struck by anti-aircraft fire, the pilots were forced to land behind the front line and to abandon the aircraft, and then successfully back in the Bulgarian army
Български: Български авиатори в трофеен британски бомбардировач Армстронг-Уитуърт (Armstrong-Whitworth FK3 Nr. 6219) на летище Белица. На 12 февруари 1917 г. пилотът лейтенант Стоуфър каца по грешка на българска територия. Българските летци използват успешно самолета за 42 мисии, нощни бомбардировки срещу британските сили. На 23 май 1918 двигателят е поразен от зенитен огън, летците са принудени да кацнат зад фронтовата линия и да изоставят самолета, като след това успешно се завръщат при българските войски |
