Deperdussin
Société Provisoire des Aéroplanes Deperdussin built the early model TT, but the founder, Armand Deperdussin, was jailed in 1913 on fraud charges and engineering fell to Louis Bechereau. A syndicate led by Louis Blériot acquired the company and changed the name to Société Anonyme pour l'Avation et ses Derives or -- as it is popularly known, SPAD.[1]
